An important roll of a manager is to make the workplace a pleasant work environment without compromising the comfort or safety of anyone. You are responsible for the safety of the members of your team. Work can be fun, but it needs to be kept within safe limits. A good manager is aware of the teams needs and acts accordingly. Is your team comfortable with the work environment you currently have?

How do you motivate your employees?

Do your employees respect you? Do you lead by example or do you use fear tactics to try and increase productivity? There are many motivational techniques that can be used. Some may work for you better than others. It may take some trial and error to find a good fit for you and your team.
